This specific batch of coffee comes from Jerico, a small and very Catholic town in Columbia with a rich coffee culture. In 2016, to combat limited options for selling and exporting beans, a coffee shop was set up as well as warehouses and supportive policies like micro loans to farmers. This coffee is the result of cupping with farmers, trade relationships, and increased infrastructure to improve the quality of coffee and to allow increased revenue directly to the people of this area. You are sure to enjoy the fruit of all this hard work in the sweet and delicate cup.

The Flavour

La Simona offers a very sweet, acidic coffee that is sure to be enjoyed by light roast lovers. Expect lots of fruity notes and a silky smooth body.

The Roasting

A very light roast is used on this coffee to highlight the origin and story of these beans.
