Positions Available
HEAD BARISTA/ ROASTER’S ASSISTANT (Waterloo)
The qualify person for this position must have a well-rounded experiences and knowledge about specialty coffee industry. As a Head Barista, you must have a good knowledge of working with professional, commercial espresso equipment.Possess the skills and knowledge to craft excellent coffee drinks. Understand coffee profiling and know how to cup.
This is a leadership position and here are some of your duties are:
Train front-of-the-house staff: cashier, barista, back bar, runners
Work closely with the roaster on tasting and profiling the coffee. Then transferring that knowledge to staff as it applies to the café and to share it with our customers.
Lead and organize coffee education workshops both for the public and staff.
Be current with what is happening in the industry both locally and globally.
Strong leadership skills, excellent time management, ability to take initiatives,ability to teach.
Require some travelling between our two cafes to quality control and ensure staff are producing quality products.

KITCHEN MANAGER/ COOK (Waterloo)
We are looking for a Kitchen Manager/ Cook to manage our food menu. You will be working closely with the owners to create and update the menu items. We are a cafe that creates simple everyday food and make it delicious & fresh. Our foods are inspired by the international cultures of our coffees.
This is a management position and here are some of your duties:
Run the daily activities of the kitchen.
Ability to create, maintain and update menu items.
Control food waste, Keep inventory fresh
Scheduling and hiring kitchen staff as required.
Train and supervise kitchen staff.
Ordering & receiving of supplies
Other duties as required
Knowledge of baking (savory tarts, muffins, scones)
Familiar with some international flavours/ dishes

Barista (Kitchener)
As a Barista you will be expected to learn our standards for pulling espresso shots, drink assembly, pouring latte art, and good coffee knowledge. Communicate & interact with customers on coffee drinks & coffee products. Most importantly exhibit a passion for coffee and a positive attitude.
As a Cashier you are our sale person, welcoming customers and aiding them in a decision to purchase our products. You must demonstrate good product knowledge from drink explanation to a variety of coffee beans. Most importantly have a friendly and positive attitude. It is expected and demanded of all positions to be professional and maintain a clean working environment.
